The weirds and wonderful world of Japan offers endless opportunities for learning to the automotive enthusiast. For example, id you know that in 2004, Toyota launched a mini MPV with electric-powered sliding doors called the Porte.
The car is based on the Toyota Vitz and is powered by either a 1.3-liter or a 1.5-liter petrol engine. In July this year, they also launched the Spade version, which has new styling and a brand new exterior color. You can’t just pick one up anywhere though, as Toyota’s Japanese dealers are specialized, this one being available only in Corolla or Netz dealerships.

Today, we found this very interesting but completely non-original promo video for the Spade, in which they drop one from an airplane. We’ve seen this done before with the Nissan Juke and Chevy Sonic, haven’t we.
