On its Japanese website, Toyota has revealed a mildly facelifted version of the Land Cruiser 200, featuring fresh lights and extra content. The front bumper has become a bit more edgy and now incorporates fresh foglamps and a set of redesigned headlamps with LEDs incorporated into the bottom edge. The shape of the grille has also been subtly improved to a slimmer, more up-market design.
Round the back, you have fresh taillamps while the side profile gets newly designed alloy wheels in sizes 18- and 20-inch sizes.
Toyota has also introduced its Multi-Terrain Select system, which varies the level of intervention of the ABS in order to adapt to road conditions.
The 2012 Land Cruiser 200 is still all about the venerable V8 engine that displaces 4.6-liters and produces 318 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 460Nm (339.2 lb-ft) of peak torque at 3,400 rpm.
