Toyota Auris Plays in the Rain

For today’s “photo of the day”, we found something interesting from one of the must-follow car photographers of the moment, GF Williams. Usually, he plays with lights and supercars, but recently he did something special for Toyota UK, so he played with the Auris hatchback and the rain, since there’s not much sunshine in Britain at the moment. The end result, we think you’ll agree, is stunning to say the least.
We never really understood the design of the new Auris. The Polo looks like a smaller Golf, but this somehow doesn’t look like a bigger Yaris. What’s more, there’s a strong tint of JDM craziness we can’t really get out heads around. The Auris is a very individual car, which stands out like a sore thumb if you stick it next to its rivals.

But the youthful styling and the availability of petrol, diesel and hybrid engines makes it a unique proposition.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
