The Auris Edition now comes with 16-inch wheels as standard and gains heated, retractable door mirrors that are colour-matched to the car’s bodywork and similarly colour-keyed doorhandles.
These elements are in addition to features such as air conditioning and a four-speaker sound system with USB port. Island Blue is a new metallic paint option for Edition models, and owners can also specific Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with Traction Control (TRC) and a Protection Pack for the five-door version (floor mats, mudflaps, boot liner and scuff plates).
The Auris TR, which is the core model of the range, is newly equipped with rear parking sensors, Bluetooth with voice control and cruise control on the 1.6-liter version. The exterior offers a new-design five-spoke 16-inch alloys and a new metallic colour choice – Deep Titanium.
Meanwhile, the Auris SR, which is offered only as a five-door with 1.6 alvematic engine and six-speed manual transmission, also gets cruise control and Bluetooth as standard this year, and can be specified with the new Deep Titanium metallic paint option.
