There’s this proverb - with various forms all over the world - saying that “misfortune never comes alone.” Well, looking at the video below, you might start to think the only reason it’s true is because of us, humans.
The whole story begins with an accident - one that we don’t get to see, but judging by the way the car looks, it appears to have been pretty serious. After all, that looks like a 20-feet drop at least, and the car didn’t go down using an elevator.
In fact, there’s no info on the driver, but the roof of the car looks rather dented just above where he would’ve been sitting. That is if the car didn’t actually fall on its own in the first place, simply because the same driver we’re worrying about now forgot to pull the handbrake or leave it in gear.
Well, we’ll never know, but it’s best to leave him out of the whole business just in case he’s somewhere in a hospital right now.
This clip is the perfect illustration of that moment when you’re in distress, and then help finally arrives and everything looks like it’s going to be OK. But just as you think you’re out of the woods, those helping turn out to really suck at it and you’re back where you started.
Take this example: how hard can it be to lift a car out of an admittedly deep ravine? Well, it’s not easy, that’s for sure, not even when you have a tow truck with an extendable winch. And yet these guys pull it off with the small cost of the car’s front bumper.
That’s it, job done, everybody’s happy - well, as happy as you can be in this situation. Some of the more unlucky guys filming this might have even switched off their recording devices. But then, disaster struck. Again. Some people from the audience show excellent reaction skills, but it’s an uneven fight and gravity wins, forcing them to let go. You probably already know what to expect from the clip by now, but watch it anyway and don’t feel bad if it makes you giggle. That’s what human stupidity observed in others usually does.
