Things are on the move with Suzuki Motor of America and two changes in top management have recently been announced.
Toru Muraki, the company's former executive vice president has been appointed as president. Muraki is an avid motorcyclist and started working for Suzuki's US branch back in 2010, being involved with the motorcycle and ATV marketing. The outgoing president Seiichi Maruyam will take care of the European automotive branch.

Tak Iwatsuki, chairman of Suzuki Motor of America outlined the company's future goals: “New product introductions, strong dealer support and care for the customer will remain our focus. And our leadership group is well-qualified to help us reach our goals.”

The top-level restructuring move also includes Takuya Sato, appointed executive vice president of Suzuki's marine operations in the US.

With massive changes to the US operations, including the bankruptcy of the automotive branch, Suzuki now focuses on motorcycle, ATV and marine operations, and it looks like things are back on the right track.
