Just like we announced earlier, Korean bike manufacturer Hyosung and their local partner DSK Motowheels are making solid moves in the Indian market. They announce the next machine to be offered to Indian customers: the GV250 cruiser.

After enjoying the warm welcome the GV650 had, Hyosung realized that the Indian market will be even happier with a smaller, cheaper cruiser. The encouraging sales in the past 10 months (1,260 units according to Autocar India) have been a good sign that there is more potential to CKD machines.

While a release date was not yet made public, the Hyosung GV250 might still become available before the end of the year, and possibly even make it on the other markets around the globe.

The Hyosung GV250 boasts a classic cruiser compact and comfort-focused ergonomics, powered by a quarter-liter oil-cooled v-twin engine and producing 28 HP. The 8-valve unit is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox with chain final drive, and will roll with a front disc brake and a rear drum. Looking forward to see the Indian Hyosung in more countries, soon.
