TomTom Unveils Stylish GO 630 GPS

TomTom has just announced a new member of the GO series, namely the 630 model, which is said to share several features with its predecessor but also a few things to differentiate it from the previous releases. Basically, this GPS unit incorporates the main functions a buyer would need nowadays, including USB connectivity, Bluetooth support and a large and high-quality screen. But let's see some details information about the new TomTom unit:

First of all, the Bluetooth support lets drivers pair the GPS device with their mobile phone and receive or initiate calls by pressing a single button on the unit. Besides that, the Bluetooth technology is able to connect the GPS to the in-car audio system and get driving directions through the car speakers.

The wide 4.3-inch TFT display comes with touch support, which obviously eliminates the need for buttons and provides easier browsing than many devices on the market.

Beside all these technical specs, GO 630 comes with preloaded points of interest with detailed information as well as detailed maps of USA and Canada. But more importantly, it provides access to TomTom Mapshare, meaning that maps installed on the device can be easily updated using information stored on TomTom servers.

Buying the aforementioned device brings you a couple of new things beside the GPS receiver, including a windshield mount, an USB cable, a vehicle power adapter to recharge the device in your car plus an adhesive mounting disk.
