The TommyKaira tuning house has taken the Nissan GTR (R35), taught it its philosophy and is now releasing it to the world today at the Tokyo AutoSalon, as gtrblog.com reports.
There are two packages available: one is a complete kit for the whole car while the other only gives the supercar a revised front end. Both of them exclusively consisting of carbon fiber elements.
The first one restyles the front of the car with a new front bumper, front grill cover, front lip spoiler and front under diffuser. For the car’s profile a pair of side ducts and one of side skirts are available. At the back we find a rear under-spoiler, a racing diffuser together with a rear wing and rear fender extensions. All these come in a wet carbon finish and they cost almost EUR 13,000*. An optional dry carbon kit is available, consisting of front fender finishes, front fender ducts and door handle surrounds.
The light front-only package includes a redesigned front bumper, a front grill cover, a front lip spoiler, a front under diffuser and side ducts. As for the big kit, all the parts come with a wet carbon look. It retails for approximately EUR 5000*.
The only interior details are the ones we can see in the pictures, but more are expected soon.
Technical improvements include a titanium exhaust system (EUR 2600*) , a performance braking system (a whopping EUR 14,000*) and a new suspension kit (EUR 5000*).
Godzilla. Nissan GTR. Nissan GTR R35. You can call it however you want. It’s the car that has revolutionized the supercar segment by offering a level of performance which previously costed twice as much. But we can’t say we like it more tuned than in its stock factory form.
*All prices are approximate and are available in Japan.
