Last week we mentioned that the sensational guys behind Thunderbike, one of Germany's most astonishing custom bike builders were in the last straight with their new project called The Unbreakable. Martin from Thunderbikes was extremely kind to provide us with these photos and insightful info on the Unbreakable.
"Functional, yet breathtaking", these were the two concepts which guided Andreas Bergerforth, Thunderbike founder, through the whole building process. Rather accustomed to winning, Thunderbike was up to create a mind-boggling machine, and win they did: Best Custom & Best in Show at Arneitz and the 1st Place at the European Bike Week in Faak, both in Austria.

He always wanted to build a trapeze fork, but the design was not exactly cool with the Thunderbike way. So a hybrid approach was obviously the solution: part traditional, part springer, part trapeze, the Unbreakable fork is a wonderful display of creative engineering. We needed a close look and some time to figure out the intricate workings, but believe us, this fork is a marvel.

The 26" front wheel received dual 340mm rotors, while the 260mm rear wheel got a perimeter Buell rotor. Still we're gazing at the CNC rims and still we're drooling; rims have always been an ace up Thunderbike's sleeve and it was only natural that the Unbreakable boasted amazing ones.

Nickel, anodizing and CNC machining again provided the parts with an exclusive look, and the darkened covers make a very appealing contrast with the metal flake/hand candy paint job.

On the tech side, the Thunderbike Unbreakable is loaded with an 110cui 100 HP Screamin' Eagle EFI H-D engine, with custom covers, a 6-speed H-D transmission with an NH-power clutch. Controls are all Thunderbike, with Rebufini master cylinders.

Take a really good look at the fork and you might just spot the embedded turn signals. Now, that's style! We can only dream of how proud the Unbreakable's new owner Stefan from Hamminkeln, Germany is...
