Three More Tata Nanos Catch Fire in India

In the last two weeks, the Indian press has reported that a total of three Tata Nanas have caught fire, sparking outrage from the public, since the automaker has stated its problems had been fixed.
One of the cases took place in the Indian province of Gujarat, another in Sri Lanka, where the affordable car has only been on sale for about four months, and the third took place in Chennai, according to Hotnews.ro. This incident was filmed and posted on Youtube, so we can show you exactly how bad the extend of the blaze appear to be.

Following an official investigation, Tata has stated that there isn’t a manufacturing defect with their car, but the incidents are so widespread that the public is not inclined to believe them. Sales of the affordable Nano has of course been severely affected by this.
