2014 will be a great year for MINI enthusiasts in Australia. According to Car Advice, both the 3-door and 5-door versions of the new MINI Cooper will be arriving down under.
The first step will be taken in March, when the ‘traditional’ Cooper will be launched. By traditional I mean the 3-door version, of course. As the British already announced, this version will be using 3-cylinder 1.5-liter turbocharged engines alongside brand new 4-cylinder 2-liter turbocharged units for the Cooper S variants.
The new, 5-door version MINI will show up in Australia in the second half of the year and will, most likely, be using the same engine line-up despite having 2 extra doors on the body. Of course, this version is expected to have more leg room in the back and be, overall, more practical and comfortable.
