Oregon-based Dub Box USA is in fact making them from scratch, designing everything from tailgate campers, family campers to food cars or event carts. They all are inspired from retro Volkswagen styling and vintage American trailer culture.
The company offers a range of models, but you can always ask for your one-of-a-kind design, whatever that might be. According to its creators, Dub Box has everything from a spacious dining area that would easily seat four adults, a huge converted double bed, a custom kitchenette with plenty of storage and more.
Customization has its special place with these people, as you can choose the colors for the upholstery and also the worktops, cupboards, flooring, and blinds.
The available models vary according to price and amenities. Take the cheapest one listed on their website, the Dinky Dub Fun Hauler. With a starting price of $8,000 it comes with a stationary roof, cargo style back door, laminated walls and commercial flooring.
