Tesla doesn't do much in terms of customization when it comes to the Cybertruck, the model the carmaker started delivering less than three months ago. That is why many customers take their newly delivered EVs straight to custom shops. Now, a blue matte electric pickup truck has shown up looking good and confident.
Wrapping is the only way to change the color of the Cybertruck, which sports a body made entirely of high-quality 300 series stainless steel. The material is corrosion- and rust-resistant, it is hard to dent and bend, but despite all the advantages, it is next to impossible to paint.

That is exactly why we have seen a gazillion customized Cybertrucks sporting, at first, quite tamed colors. As the number of deliveries grew since November 30, when the first examples were handed over at the Giga Texas, more daring shades showed up. This is how Cybetruck owners went from gloss black, matte black, military green, and bright white to purple, for instance.

We have recently seen the red metallic Tesla Cybertruck attending a cars and coffee event in California. The model sparked interest, and everyone gathered around to stare, take photos, and film the vehicle.

And that wasn't even close to what the color-shifting Cybertruck did in downtown Los Angeles, in front of the Disney Concert Hall, a structure made of stainless steel as well. The multi-colored truck got so much attention that the team filming it for a YouTube video had to relocate several times.

And now, the first matte indigo Tesla Cybertruck shows up. It is the creation of OCDetail, based in Fremont, California, not far from the carmakers factory.

It is the same shop that wrapped another vehicle in purple. The blue vinyl wrap complements the boxy shape of the model, which is all sharp edges and angles. The team also added a protection film and window coating.

Many of the customers chose to change the wheels. But this Cybertruck still rides on the 20-inch units with aero covers. Tesla has reportedly stopped delivering the wheels with aero covers due to the fact that they eat out the rubber and is looking for a fix to the issue.

Tesla is only delivering the Cybertruck Foundation Series for the moment and it will take some time before the Giga Texas start rolling out other variants. The Foundation Series is powered by three electric motors that generate together 845 horsepower (857 metric horsepower) and 686 pound-feet (930 Newton meters) of torque.

That is enough for the 6,843-pound (3,104-kilogram) vehicle to run from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph) in 2.6 seconds. Now, this Cybertruck right here hits a top speed of 130 mph (210 kph) while looking good in matte blue.
