When a used car buying app is launched, the first question that pops up is “how simple is it for me to post/read an ad?” The dating industry has done monstrous efforts to come up with a good answer for that, so now a Canadian website is trying to learn form them.
To put things another way, there’s a new vehicle buying app that looks like Tinder for cars. It’s called AutoSwipe and the thing is still under development. “Swipe right for cars that match and left for those that don’t” - sounds familiar, doesn’t it?

What you have to do is set the criteria for your desired car. Then the app will show the most relevant vehicles matching your search. If you happen to be struck by love, you can message the buyer on the spot.

Just like it happens on Tinder (so we’ve heard) there could be one or two issues with this approach. First of all, it’s difficult to get all the info your need to buy a car just by looking at its photo. Moreover, you could end up not having enough cars to swipe through. Well, we guess time will tell if this approach works or not.

For one thing, this sounds perfect if you want to have a one night stand drive. As journalists, we can never be faithful to a single car, so we’re not here to throw the stone if you feel like - who knows, perhaps you’ll be wishing for a one night stand with a gorgeous AWD machine on one freezing winter evening. Or maybe the summer breeze will make you lust for a coupe to drift around in the sunset.
