Mansory's tuning affair with Mercedes-Benz models doesn't seem to end anytime soon, and there are a lot of petrolheads - buyers included - grateful for that.
Honestly, sometimes we can't understand why Mansory decides to create monsters packing too much horsepower for the driver's well-being. However, as long as they're meant to brutalize tires and asphalt, we have no problem with it.
This means that their latest upgrade pack for the Mercedes-Benz S63 AMG Coupé is a welcome breath of fresh air, especially since the monster's exterior styling was toned down.
Everything looks more like a whole, but the car's outer shell keeps the 'in your face' attitude, don't you worry about losses in this department. In fact, it's the engine that should give you goosebumps.
The roaring lion under the slick coupé hood was tuned up to produce 900 HP and a bone-crushing torque of 1,300 Nm (960 lb-ft) between 1,600 rpm and 5,700 rpm. By the way, electronics are being employed to keep that massive twist under control, so there's no messing around here.
I mean, what can you say in front of a car capable of blasting from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.3 seconds, with enough juice in its system to secure a top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h) - also, electronically-limited.
On that note, we just hope the German autobahn won't be very crowded when this beast will go out and play.
