The food truck culture is rapidly growing and it's just normal extension of our urban, stressful lives. Why? Well, how many times a day do you eat out? How many meals do you still cook in the kitchen of your own house? Almost none?
That's what we thought. In our continuos search for a promotion, more money or success, we often lack time to cook our own food or eat healthy all the time. That's where the food trucks come in.
You've seen them everywhere around busy cities and now, we're showing you the most peculiar one of all. It hails from Wellington, New Zealand and it's called 'Lolliepop', a converted MINI Hatchback with the one purpose of delivering mouth-watering goods to the people.
So, what's the story behind it? Well, the owner, Helena Coolen, had a 1978 Mini Clubman and a matching trailer for it. When she replaced the Classic car with a shiny new Hatchback, she just couldn't part with it so she started looking for a way to keep it in her life.
Inspired by the American snack industry, she thought she could start her own business, turning the old Clubman into a kettle corn popping trailer. As a finishing touch, she even installed a four-burner barbecue to the top of the trailer for even more options.
All we have to say is that it looks delicious and, if you're in the area, you should definitely try it out.
