The Lexus Design Pavilion is a unique display of the brand’s distinct DNA and innovation, which could be seen at this year’s Melbourne Cup Carnival, showcasing creative excellence in collaboration with distinguished interior practice, Hecker Guthrie.
Paying homage to the heritage from which Lexus was conceived, one of the most recognized works of Japanese art in the world - The Wave of Kanagawa - forms a creative focal point offering influence across additional elements of the Pavilion set-up.
On the Sky Deck, Australia’s leading landscape designer, Jamie Durie, offered consultancy, a continuation of the Pavilion’s minimal aesthetic. Key features included a black Japanese inspired geometric moss wall integrated with espaliered cherry blossom trees.
