This Is How You Drive the Lamborghini Veneno in Reverse

Lamborghini has done much to make its V12 supercars more practical, by adding more rear visibility, more everyday usability and cutting down on the savagery. To be frank, the Aventador we tested last year still required plenty of sacrifices if you were ever going to live with it on a daily basis.
The same could be said about any Ferrari of course, so it’s not as bad as one might think, certainly good enough for a trip to a hotel, but not to the supermarket. But for its 50th Anniversary, Lamborhini created something altogether different, the “Veneno”, which is as tricky as Lambos of old.

This video shows just what is required of the driver in order to back the car up. Show on the floor of the Geneva Motor Show after it ended, this footage shows the driver getting half way out of the car in order to have the necessary rear visibility. Still, at least nobody is pushing it like other rarities shown in Geneva. (cough LaFerrari cough cough)

If you’re put off by such practices, remember motorcyclists often get off their bikes to reverse using manpower.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
