Even though a proper spring is still expected in the northern hemisphere, the riders will soon no longer be able to resist warm sunny days and will start their engines. And since until then, there is still time to think about buying a new bike, BMW Motorrad Italia issued some extremely nifty posters showcasing the brand's 90th anniversary models.
Each of these three posters evokes one of the anniversary bikes, each in a different scenario. The R1200GS belongs to a futuristic stage, emphasizing the new technologies BMW have upgraded the bike with, while the R1200R was placed in an art deco setup, linked to the old road racing heritage of this iconic roadster.
The third bike is the R1200RT, the classic modern tourer, now in an pop art scenery with a dash of old-school pin-up air to it. All posters mention the 90th anniversary and their slogan is as true as it could ever be: The Seasons Pass. The Passion Remains.
At the same time, BMW Motorrad Italia offers the chance to win an all-expenses paid trip to Munich, with use of a 90th anniversary Boxer bike, and a guided tour to BMW World and the BMW Museum.
This offer is reserved to those who have already registered for the dealer open weekends. The Italian dealers had more than 20,000 visitors, doing more than 1,200 test rides already, BMW adds.
