If you’re looking for a ’70s Oldsmobile 442 muscle car in good condition, the model right here could be the want you want, as it comes not only with an impressive option list, but also with extra accessories that you most likely don’t need.
First and foremost, the seller shared the full story of the car, explaining that it was purchased in October 1969 from dealership Herbert Oldsmobile in Homestead Florida by Ralf Hach for his 16-year-old daughter Holly. Not only was the car ordered with all the options that were available at that time, but Hach also wanted a towing package to be installed because her daughter planned to pull a horse trailer with the Oldsmobile.

Holly had a horse and a horse trailer and her father was a glider piling, so to pull the horse trailer and to pull the gliders this 442 was ordered from the factory with a towing package. Included in the towing package was a factory U89 wiring harness for trailer hook up, G 51 heavy duty rear springs, and M55 auxiliary oil cooler,” the seller explains on eBay.

The Oldsmobile 442 comes with a 445ci (7.5-liter) V8 engine that develops no less than 365 horsepower, and given it was equipped right from the factory with all the available options and the car has already been restored, it’s obviously a feature-packed model.

For example, it boasts tinted windows, cruise control, air conditioning, a trunk light, a radio and a tape player that are still working, a sport steering wheel, a working electric clock, and so many other options, some of which have been added during the restoration.

Car was ordered with white stripes but when delivered on December 6, 1969 to Herbert Oldsmobile it was stripe delete. Sad day for Holly, since one of the options she wanted more than anything were the white stripes. Stripes were never put on the car until I restored it in December of last year. Stripes are a light silver and not white,” the seller says.

The car is up for sale on eBay with a $31,200 price tag.
