The Ultimate Aftermarket Part: White LED BMW Badge

Remember we showed you a DIY a while back on how to replace the badges on your car? Well, it's time to put it to good use. Scooping around Amazon we found a new, interesting badge model, a direct competitor for Mercedes-Benz's latest optional feature.
However, these new badges are not a factory option, as is the case with the Stuttgart-based manufacturer's models and they are not fitted on the bonnet or front grille. This is an aftermarket part, more exactly, a glowing BMW roundel that goes on the trunk of your car.

Acting just like the signal lights on the Z4, these new roundels will make your trunk shine, in a white, LED light. They cost £17 ($26 or €19) and you can find them here, on Amazon's UK website.

Of course, if you read our DIY about how to replace your BMW roundel, you'll already know how to install it. Almost. After installing it in the allocated spot on the boot lid, you'll also have to connect the wiring to the car's number plates lights.

This way, when you turn on your headlights, the rear badge will shine too. Interesting!
