Over the years, especially if you live in a bad neighborhood, some people might steal your BMW roundels. Whether it's from the bonnet, the lid or event the wheel caps, they might disappear at some point.
The reason why they are so easy to steal is because they are not protected in any way. Actually, in order to take one off, you just need a credit card or any kind of plastic card as a matter of fact.
Well, that's not the only reason why you should watch the video below. As we all know, BMWs are made to last. However, during all those years of wear and tear, the roundels might be damaged by wind or dust more than other components.
That will bring you in the uncomfortable position of having to change them. That's the second situation when our DIY comes in handy. So, in order to do this you'll need:
- a plastic card
- a suction cup with handle
- microfiber towel (or just any other towel you might have laying around)
- adhesive (in case you never want to take it off again and keep it from falling in the nifty hands of thieves)
