We really like the new Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo concept (HD gallery here), as it finally marks a departure from the bloated and rather unappealing shape of the current production Panamera. It is a much better proportioned proposition, with quite short overhangs, some excellent-looking rims and stunning calipers - it really is a sight to behold.
The concept is powered by the hybrid system found in both the Panamera and the Cayenne, and features the VW Group supercharged V6 which is aided by two electric motors, which give it V8 performance, for V6 fuel bills. As we have previously stated, we say this actually previews the next all-new Panamera, set to make its debut some three years from now, and we speculate that it will look exactly like this, albeit with different headlights and some other details.
If this is the design direction in which Porsche is heading, our expectations for the upcoming Pajun SUV have risen considerably, and we suspect it will look a little like this Panamera, at least at the front.
