What would the world be without the Porsche 911 Turbo? Ferraris would run free with nothing to worry about, Nissan would win every drag race and companies like Ruf probably wound't even exist.
Fortunately, the 911 Turbo does exist, and it's all-new from the ground up. Built on the Type 991 platform, it's a little bit bigger but and more well plant than the 997, yet somehow looks sportier.

The all-wheel-drive super supercar from Stuttgart is powered by a special version of the 3.8 liter flat-six engine, with turbochargers that allow an overboost function, increasing the torque 15 percent. It's only available with PDK and reports suggest it blitzed the Nurburgring in under 7:30, putting it quite close to the Carrera GT.

Unlike the 997, which used the wide body of the Carrera 4S, this is even wider than that and offers bran new 20-inch wheels with low profile tires.

Like the new 911 GT3, rear wheel steering works its magic together with a redesigned all-wheel drive system for better performance.
