Here’s what we know! Porsche has just released this video, teasing us with the first glimpses of next year’s 911 GT3 race car. We know this because “GT3 Cup” is clearly displayed down the side of the car. If history serves us, this means that the production GT3 is just around the corner and will be unveiled at the same time, probably at the beginning of next year’s racing season.
Our most recent reports suggest that the 911 GT3 may actually debut at the Geneva Motor Show, but that could just be the motor show debut. Porsche also like to show its cars way in advance of the actual even on the net.
The GT3 production car has been spotted testing on numerous occasions. It ‘reportedly makes 450 PS instead of the 535 PS of the old car. Its 3.8-liter boxer engine could be mated exclusively to the seven-speed PDK gearbox, as this provides better lap times for track day loving owners.
