The current day and age requires innovative solutions to traffic problems. Most people these days move around a lot and finding a place to rent for close to your workplace saves you time and money.
Living close to your workplace brings other interesting advantages too. For example you could save time, money and also get a good workout by using a bike to get to work every morning. In order to help you with that, MINI created a brand new product: the MINI Folding Bike.
Of course, even thought it is a bicycle, it had to be stylish, in the same way MINI's cars have character and a special design. This folding bike has some interesting features too. It has only 11 kg, an 8-speed shift system (you might think they were inspired by BMW's 8-speed automatic transmission) and a clever folding mechanism.
Folding the bike takes a matter of seconds allowing you to stow the bike and carry it with out for longer distances than you'd like to pedal. The saddle has an integrated air pump and the chain is specially treated in order to repel dirt.
The MINI Bike also has environmentally friendly lights for a good night-time vision, lights that use solar cells to provide battery power for up to 7 hours. There's also an iPhone case for protecting your phone from rain and dirt. This one fits to the handlebars and allows the users to use the touch screen whenever they need to without taking it out of the case due to its touch screen surface.
You can order the bike on-line at the MINI Online Shop and get it in Matte Black if you'd like but without the Klickfix adapter (which is fitted on the front wheel in order to allow easy attachment of accessories) and the saddle pump.
