Everybody seems to think that Batman drives the Aventador because it's newer, but the Dark Knight actually had a Murcielago LP640, he drove the Murcielago. He used it to stop an SUV which was going to ram the police car carrying that accountant who knew Batman's identity.
The Joker didn't really like that his plans for chaos and mayhem were stopped, so he got back at Batman in the only way possible, by targeting Bruce's car.
