Ford rolls out the all-new Bronze Appearance Package, exclusively designed for the Mustang Mach-E GT. The package brings bronze wheels, bronze badges, bronze everything to turn the electric crossover into a head-turner.
The new customization package gives customers the chance to make their Mustang Mach-E GT more special. The package includes items in bronze, but also an opportunity to upgrade performance, Ford says, giving no hint whatsoever.

The new Ford Mustang Mach-E GT gets door and rear badges outlined in what the carmaker calls 'Sinister Bronze.' For a more striking appearance, it rides on matching 20-inch Sinister Bronze painted aluminum wheels. The wheels also match the bold bronze mesh front faux grille that enhances the aggressive styling of the model.

Customers can choose the Bronze Appearance Package with only three of the colors in the lineup: Shadow Black, Star White Metallic Tri-Coat, or the new Eruption Green, which shows up in the photo gallery.

Ford also mentions a mystery performance upgrade for the electric Mustang but keeps the figures under wraps for the moment. The model is expected to be capable of delivering the quickest 0 to 60 mph time of any production Mustang Mach-E ever.

Right now, the quickest of the Mustang Mach-E lineup is the GT with the Extended Range battery pack and all-wheel drive, which is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 kph) in 3.5 seconds. Ford will provide more details about the performance upgrade at a later date, but we can only hope that the upgrade will shave off at least a tenth of a second from that 3.5.

The new Mustang Mach-E GT also gets the MagneRide Damping System for better handling as standard. It will also be equipped with performance-oriented components such as the 385-millimeter front rotors with red-painted Brembo front brake calipers.

The driver of the Mustang Mach-E GT will sit in the new 10-Way Power Driver Seat. Occupants can enjoy the sound experience offered by the Bang & Olufsen audio system. A panoramic fixed-glass roof is also on the menu.

The GT variant is powered by two electric motors, each engaging an axle in an all-wheel drive setup for a total of 480 horsepower (486 metric horsepower and 634 pound-feet (860 Newton meters) of torque.

The battery, with a total capacity of 98.7 kWh, stores energy for a 270-mile (435 kilometers) drive before the car needs to be plugged in again.

Customers will be able to order the model later this winter. The electric Ford with all-wheel drive and Extended Range, equipped with the Bronze Appearance Package will start at $60,990, destination fee not included. That’s quite a nice price, considering that the Mustang Mach-E GT with no design upgrade starts at $59,995.
