The Fisker Alaska will make it to Europe but under a different designation that will be more appropriate for the customers on the Old Continent.
EV startup Fisker will continue to build the electric pickup truck in the US and export it to Europe sometime during the first quarter of 2025. From that moment on, it will be marketed as the Fisker Kayak. It will be the brand's second model to be sold on the European market, following the Fisker Ocean SUV.

However, the company is planning on launching two more, the Fisker Ronin GT and Fisker Pear hatchback, in 2025.

The brand’s representatives claim that this is a designation that the European customers resonate more with. When Fisker confirmed the decision to sell the model in Europe, Henrik Fisher said that it would not be in huge volumes. Racing against more established brands that have recently launched electric pickup trucks, such as Ford, Tesla, and Rivian, Fisker only delivered 4,700 vehicles.

Export volumes and the numbers allocated to Europe have not been confirmed yet, and neither has pricing. In the United States, the Alaska starts at $45,400, which is the equivalent of 41,790 euros.

Two battery packs will be available. The version equipped with the 75-kWh battery can drive as far as 230 miles on a single charge, while the one with the 113-kWh battery, Hyper Range, can cover 340 miles before the vehicle needs to be plugged in again.

The upcoming Kayak should get both front- and all-wheel drive variants, with a single- or dual-motor layout. Fisher does not indicate any output, but the range-topping Alaska will have 564 horsepower and 544 pound-feet of torque.

Wheels of 21 and 22 inches in size will reportedly be available. Fisher mentioned an acceleration from 0 to 62 mph (0 to 100 kph) in 3.9 seconds for the top-of-the-line variant, while the entry-level version, powered by a single motor, will need 7.2 seconds for the same run.

The Kayak will sit on an extended version of the Fisker's FT31 platform, the one that also underpins the Ocean. The pickup truck will be 5,304 millimeters (208.8 inches) long and will feature a cargo bed of 4.5 feet (1.4 meters), which is extendable to 9.2 feet (2.8 meters) thanks to its so-called Houdini partition, which connects the bed to the rear of the cabin. Fisher claims that it will be the world's lightest and most sustainable pickup truck.

The Kayak will get wooden trim on the dashboard, treated to feel like fabric. Meanwhile, there is a cowboy hat holder at the rear, but also the world's largest cup holder. Just like the Ocean, the Kayak will feature the California Mode. At the press of a button, all windows, including the rear one, drop, and the panoramic roof open at the same time.
