Only a week has passed since Toyota unveiled the 2025 4Runner, and every fan out there is on pins and needles, willing to see more of it. Before the automaker releases the color lineup, they have been toying around with historic color options for the model. And we must admit that the new-generation 4Runner looks good in any color as long as it's green.
The all-new Toyota 4Runner seems to have everything fans asked for. The rugged appearance, the body-on-frame solid structure, and the can't-do-without roll-down rear window.

While waiting for the model to be unveiled, 4Runner enthusiasts have come up with a website specifically designed for the sixth generation. That is where they upload new photos and videos and provide information on the model, which was officially introduced on April 9.

Toyota has only confirmed five paintworks for the 2025 4Runner. Before the model hits the market, fans have been playing with colors around the SUV. For the renderings, they used historic color options from the past, but also paintworks that are currently in Toyota’s lineup.

While the 4Runner in Barcelona Red is definitely a head-turner, and the Solar Octane highlights all the curves and edges of the model, it is Army Green that compliments it best, doing justice to the rugged design. Dark Green Pearl is also a show-stopper.

We do have mixed feelings about the Ice Cap White, though. However, the Ice Cap white with TRD stripes is starting to grow on us. Black does not look bad on it at all, turning it into a mean dark presence on the road. No matter the color, the 4Runner6g team did a great job!

While these affirmations are purely subjective, we would love to find out which one is your favorite. So drop us a line in the comments section below. One thing is for sure, though. The sixth-generation 4Runner does look every inch ready to give the Jeep Wrangler and Ford Bronco a run for their money.

Toyota is rolling out the six generation underpinned by the TNGA-F, the platform that most of Toyota’s SUVs and trucks are based on, the Tacoma, Land Cruiser, Tundra, Sequoia, Land Cruiser, and Lexus GX included.

The body-on-frame SUV is powered by the 2.4-liter four-cylinder turbocharged version available in two versions, with one going down the electrification lane. The lineup starts with the one sporting 278 horsepower (282 metric horsepower) and 317 pound-feet (430 Newton meters) of torque.

The top-of-the-line variant is the i-Force Max, which comes with 326 horsepower (331 metric horsepower) and 465 pound-feet (630 Newton meters) of torque.

There is no information on the pricing of the new generation just yet. Most likely, we are to find out those details closer to the market launch. That is when we will find out more about the color lineup, too.
