Techart Cayenne Diesel Gets 4x4 Award

The Techart Individualization program for the Porsche Cayenne Diesel has convinced the jury at the Tuning World in Friedrichshafen that it was the one entitled to receive the coveted Yokohama 4 x 4 Award. The program featuring Techart’s performance kit TA 055/D1 as well as the Aerodynamic Kit I brought the tuners their place on the winners’ podium.

The kit boosts the output of Cayenne's 3.0l diesel engine from 240 hp to 290 hp and increases torque from 550Nm to 630 Nm, with over 500 Nm available from 1,100 rpm.

These enhancements allow the 0-60 time to drop from 8.3 seconds to 7.7 seconds. Fuel consumption stands at 30.4 mpg (7.7l/100 km) while CO2 emission top at 244 g/km.

Inside the SUV the Techart full leather interior in black with decorative stitching in white, as well as the Techart 3-spokes sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, also contributed to the Germans’ performance.

The Aerokit I for the Techart Porsche Cayenne Diesel styling kit includes a new front panel with a deeper front spoiler, deeper sills, low drag roof spoiler, headlight and rear light surround trims, twin double oval exhaust pipes and 21-inch alloy wheels fitted with Michelin Diamaris 4X4 XL 295/35 R21 tires, among others.

A Diesel Cayenne with Aerokit 1 (including the exterior and interior upgrades) comes from £53,000, or from £55,500 with Aerokit 1 and Powerkit TA 055/D1. If you already have a Porsche and wish to spice it up a bit, you can purchase the Aerokit 1 from £15,000 and the Powerkit TA 055/D1 from £2,500.
