Take a Tour of Caterham F1’s New Headquarters

The Caterham F1 team and their GP2 team, Caterham Racing, have moved to a new factory, deep in the heart of Oxfordshire, in Leafield. The move had been planned in advance, specifically to coincide with the F1 break.
The bulk of the work will now take place in Leafield, despite the fact that some operations will still remain active in Norfolk, where they had been based since their entry into Formula 1, back in 2009. However, Caterham F1 isn’t the first team to call the Leafield facility home, as they have been preceded by two other racing teams and namely Arrows and Super Aguri. It features everything the budding F1 team needs, including a ‘cozy’ reception desk with a ‘friendly’ receptionist.

Riad Asmat, Caterham Group CEO said "I [. . .] am also delighted that Leafield is now up and running. We have worked incredibly hard over the last three years to build a range of businesses that complement each other, have transferrable technology and skills-bases and allow us to attract the best people for each role. Physically, Leafield is the next logical step in the growth of Caterham Group, its location alone allows us to access the pool of talent that is already in place throughout the UK's motorsport valley, but it also plays an important role psychologically.
