Suzuki GSX1250FA Gets MCN Machine of the Year Award

Launched in the UK earlier this year, the GSX1250FA quickly topped registration figures in the Sports Tourer category, and now has received the Machine of the Year award from British motorcycle publication MCN.

Built around a traditional classic tube frame, the GSX1250FA features effective rake and trail figures (25.3 degrees and 104mm), with 43mm front forks and the single rear shock absorber featuring spring pre-load adjustability.

Available in standard guise and as the sports touring ST version, which features useful additions for long distance travel such as top box and panniers, the GSX1250FA is fitted with a 1255cc engine, as well as with a full-fairing.

Aside from the sporty handling, stability, versatility and reduced emissions, the GSX1250FA offers digital ABS as standard and an adjustable seat. Moreover, with handy additions such as a gear position indicator and shift light as part of the functional and easy to read instrument cluster, the rider is kept fully informed.

"Naturally we're delighted to accept this award from Motorcycle News. The buying public voted with their money earlier this year, making the GSX1250FA the best selling model in the sports tourer category on more than one occasion, so to be awarded Best All-Rounder by MCN really is the icing on the cake and should only reaffirm our customers belief in the GSX1250FA,"
Suzuki GB director of sales and marketing, David Taylor, said in a statement.

Suzuki GSX1250FA will also be on display at the upcoming Motorcycle Live event, taking place at the NEC in Birmingham from 27th November - 5th December.

The bike retails in the UK starting at GBP7,699.
