Ladies and gentlemen tuners, behold Superior Automotive Design’s “Project Grape”, a colorful proposal for the 2013 incarnation of the Audi S6.
The German supersaloon was stripped of the body elements that are usually removed from a car during such an operation and is now being covered in 3M’s 1080 matte purple wrap. Superior Automotive Design has released the adjacent teaser images for the development, which show the car receiving its new finish.
The wheels, grille elements, badges and lights of the Audi S6 also received a special finish and are now ready to return to their places.
When this project is complete, we’ll be dealing with an extremely fast grape, as the 2013 Audi S6 packs a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 unit that delivers 420 hp between 5,500 and 6,400 rpm, as well as a peak torque of 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) between 1,400 and 5,200 rpm.
