Usually, drag racing a Corvette Z06 with a BMW M3 is not going to end up well for the Bimmer. Things might change, though, through the gentle art of tuning. Well maybe in this case it wasn’t so gentle...
That’s because the E92 M3 got a massive ESS Supercharger under the bonnet that took it dangerously close to the 750 WHP margin. That’s right, the M3 we’re looking at here has an ESS VT3-750 supercharger kit under the bonnet.
The Corvette, on the other hand, is not stock either. According to the video description, it has new head, cams and long tubes to make it even more powerful, especially up high in the rev range.
We don’t have any info on the exact numbers at the moment but the stock C6 Z06 makes 505 BHP and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque out of a 7-liter V8 engine that allows the Chevy to reach 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.9 seconds.
Of course, a lot of other factors have to be taken into consideration, like the drivers and the rolling start but overall, that is one fast little BMW M3, as the passenger clearly states.
