Supercar Win: Rare Gallardo LP550-2 Tricolore on the Track

You know you’re doing it right when you have this kind of power and exclusivity in your life. We’re talking about the owner of this rare Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2, who was filmed by hannes911 while on the track, doing some slides here and there in the wet.
This special edition was built to commemorate the 150 years since the unification of Italy. That’s why this black Raging Bull’s patriot wears an Italian flag, which runs the entire length of the vehicle. To be more specific, a three-colored stripe can be found on the hood, driver’s seat and roof.

The LP550-2 is powered by a lightweight 5.2l ten cylinder engine, developing 550 hp (hence the name on the car). This means it can reach 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, faster than you can say its entire name. The speedometer tops at 320 km/h (199 mph). This is also one of the very few rear-wheel drive Gallardos built, and features an ESP system that allows for greater drifting action.

Mihnea's favorite cars have already been built, the so-called modern classics from the '80s and '90s. He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
