All-new for 2015, the WRX STI is perhaps the only performance model Subaru will be able to muster for a very long time. The model was just revealed and is being showcased at the Detroit Auto Show, and this latest video takes us round some of the finer features.
Powering the 2015 Impreza WRX STI is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder turbo boxer engine outputting 305 hp at 6,000 rpm and 290 lb-ft (393 Nm) at 4,000 rpm. Unlike the WRX that was revealed last year, it's not available with a CVT automatic, only with a short-throw six-speed manual.
In the video below, Subaru of America national manager Dominick Infante shows us things like the rocker panels (side skirts) the changes made to the grille or the interior. All-in-all, it's a nice car that comes winged to the teeth.
There's nothing about the all-important 0 to 100 km/h time in the video, but at least we get to see the dials and alcantara seats all STI fans seem to love.
