Christmas is over, but Subaru still thought it would be a good idea to launch a concept car painted in red and named after one of Santa's reindeer. Say hello to the Legacy B4 Blitzen concept car, shown earlier today at the Tokyo Auto Salon.
The new Legacy sedan is already a familiar face on American roads, but over in Japan it's only now making its presence felt, together with the outback. That's because Fuji Heavy Industries just started local production. Finished in Premium Red and stanced, the concept manages to put the sedan in a very sporty light.

This concept features a prominent front spoiler, and a reworked rear with a hint of STI character. It also comes with a gloss black honeycomb radiator grille and gunmetal gray seats.

Inside, the B4 Blitzen features beige leather seats, piano black trim and red accents. Believe it or not, but this concept might make it into production. We found that a decade back, they had a JDM-only Legacy B4 Blitzen model on sale in red (see video) and it was even available as a wagon.

We're pretty sure a lot of you think this is what the Legacy should have looked like from the beginning. We're with you on this one, as the factory sedan is a sea of gray, the Japanese equivalent of a Passat.
