Japanese automaker has created a bespoke design for the Legacy sedan that will go on sale in China this year.
The car that was unveiled at the 2012 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition and comes with improvements to the economy, the looks and the safety aspects.
The new Legacy comes with the same headlight design used by the other new Subarus, edesigned bumpers, new side skirts, 18 inch wheels and a raised suspension to cope with the rough roads of China.
Powering the Chinese spec Legacy is a new generation of boxer engine, coupled with a revised second generation Lineatronic CVT transmission.
The new model that will go on sale in China will also have an emphasis placed on safety, with three extra airbags being introduced including ones for the knees, together with a reinforced body structure.
