No factory fitted supercharger yet, but perhaps this awesome machine is the hot Suburu sportscar everybody is actually dreaming about. At the 2012 Australian International Motor Show (AIMS) in Sydney, the Japanese carmaker revealed a BRZ fitted with what it calls concept sports kit from the STI division.
The good news is that unlike the BRZ STI Concept of old, this thing is simple and cheap enough to actually put into production. In fact, much like Toyota offers racing parts on the GT 86, so too will Subaru offer these slick components to enthusiasts willing to stretch their credit a little further.

The list of components on offer will include the following items: front under spoiler,
side under spoiler, boot lip spoiler, flexible tower bar, wheel nut set - black, 17-inch alloy wheel, coil spring set, quick shift gear lever, sports muffler, gear shift knob, push start switch, rear under diffuser and instrument panel trim.

If you’re wondering why a supercharger is missing from the, it’s because Subaru has always said it will bring more power to the BRZ only with engine management and exhaust tweaks. So, is this the BRZ STI you’ve been dreaming of?

"All indications are that many BRZ buyers want to add some performance touches to their cars and choosing genuine Subaru equipment offers great design, quality and peace-of-mind that aren't necessarily guaranteed by after-market suppliers,” explains Nick Senior, Managing Director of Subaru Australia.
