Another episode of the ‘Damn Nature, you scary!’ series was shot this weekend in Tainan City, Taiwan as heavy winds descended on the town, wreaking havoc.
One unfortunate driver had the mischance to be driving around town on Sunday when a gust of wind suddenly turned into a sort of mini-tornado and started blowing all kinds of things away.
As you can see in the video below, they start ramming the car from the sides and from the back, eventually joining forces and creating what looks like a tornado with the camera car right in the middle of it all.
What’s interesting, though, is not what happens to the camera car but to a smaller one right in front of it. Ever heard people making fun of other people for being too skinny? Ever heard one of them saying that they could get blown away one day? Who knew that applied to cars as well?
In the footage below we can quickly spot a Hyundai Getz getting blown away and nearly picked up by the high winds, ending up somewhere in a ditch on the right side of the road. What we still can’t make out though is whether the woman sitting in the middle of the road by the end of the video was initially aboard this car or not…
That’s because when the winds pick up they also take a lot of garbage with them and block out our view for a couple of seconds. Either way, that’s surely a spooky situation to have to deal with.
Thankfully, the driver of the car fitted with the camera knows what being decent is and goes over to the poor woman and tends to her, checking if she’s alright and comforting her until help arrives. I guess the only thing left to say is: that Hummer doesn’t seem so stupid now, does it?
