StickNFind Helps You Find Your Bike Keys and More

If you're the type of guy who likes attending bike rallies and indulge in more than one or two (read ten or more) beers, then it's most likely you've misplaced the keys to your motorcycle or wallet at least once. Now, it's altogether true that one doesn't have to ride the booze carousel to misplace small objects. But when it comes to tracing back your steps and look for them, things aren't funny anymore.
Here's StickNFind, a nice gadget you can stick to virtually anything, bike-related or not: gloves, helmet, keys, cat collar, wallet, remote control, wife car and whatnot. These small buttons act like Bluetooth beacons and you can track the objects they're attached to using an iPhone or Android phone. If an item becomes lost, just switch the Bluetooth connection on your smartphone and it will pop up on the nearfield map, provided it's in range.

F you own an iPhone you can also command these buttons to buzz or light up a tiny LED so they can be found easier. As for tracking, you can set alarms for two events: the object is on the move and gets away (maybe your wallet has been stolen, or you dropped your keys and walk away from them), or it has just entered the communication field, meaning the tracked object (or spouse car) is drawing near your location.

For such complex scenarios the Bluetooth connection must be active at all times, and if you don't have way to recharge your phone, you'd better be more careful with your stuff. The StickNFind comes with a 100 ft (33 m) range and the battery lasts for one year.

Prices range from $35 (€27) for a pair of StickNFind buttons to $150 (€115.7) a pack of 10 and $1,400 (€1,079) for a 100-piece “company pack”. Get them here.
