SSC Ultimate Aero Teaser Released

Today is an important day for the performance vehicles world, as the Internet brings us a teaser of a vehicle that promises to become the fastest of its kind.

Shelby Supercars is offering us the first teaser image for the upcoming SSC Ultimate Aero, a completely new version of the well-known supercar.

The picture shows us what seems to be the tip of the iceberg - the middle of the supercar’s front fascia, presenting a mix between a white and a carbon fiber finish.

The new SSC Ultimate Aero is expected to offer a brilliant design, as its lines will be signed by Jason Castriota.

The teaser includes bold lines that come to confirm the company’s ambitions, such as “Proudly Built in the United States of America” and “World Class Design Meets World Class Performance”.

And speaking of performance, the vehicle threatens to steal the production vehicle top speed crown, which currently belongs to the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. In case you were wondering, the VW Group vehicle manage to reach 268 mph (431 km/h) during a recent test session.

The new SSC Ultimate Aero is expected to use a forced induction monster unit that will deliver as much as 1,300-1,400 hp. This will be cocooned by a body that promises to be a pure example of modern aerodynamics.

The teaser also confirms the fact that the vehicle will make its debut this September.
