Porsche has received a lot of criticism for the Panamera since the four-door saloon was launched at the Shaghai Auto Show back in 2009. Now though, the car is getting its mid-life makeover, and has once again been seen testing in Spain.
The car has been testing in various powertrain configurations for a while now, and should be ready to launch this year. The styling changes won’t be radical, as only the front and rear have been covered, with no changes to the profile.
On the styling front, changes will include LED details for the headlights, though full-LED could be optionally available.
On the powertrain front, the biggest change is the rumored introduction of a powerful plug-in hybrid version. Though prototypes have been testing the system, it’s not yet clear if the Germans will give it the production green light.
