Our spy photographers have once again caught up with the controversial new BMW model, the 4 Series Coupe, which was undergoing winter testing in icy Scandinavia.
The car was shown as a concept first at a Bavarian event and later at the January Detroit Auto Show. This though, is a more plain Jane sort of production model, with less attractive wheels and seemingly higher ride.

Scheduled to enter production this July, the F32 4 Series will be offered with two petrol engines in the US, the 2-liter 428i model and 3-liter 435i, joined in Europe by two more diesels: the ever popular base 420d and the 425d, featuring the same twin-turbo 2-liter diesel producing 218 HP.

Almost limitless options will be offered, such as bigger wheels, adaptive M suspension, reverse camera as well as individual paint colors from the 'frozen' range.

Four months after the coupe, production of the 4-Series Convertible will start at another BMW factory in Regensburg. After that, the range will be joined by the 4-Series Gan Coupe four-door model, which will rival Audi's A5 Sportback.

He also loves local car culture from all over the world, so don't be surprised to see him getting excited about weird Japanese imports, low-rider VWs out of Germany, replicas from Russia or LS swaps down in Florida.
