BMW is putting a very hard decision in front of its fans these days. Either they buy the M3 as a sedan wen it comes out, or wait even longer for the coupe to come out. To be frank, we’re a bit concerned that the design of the coupe and convertible won’t work if you combine it with the bigger wheelbase that is a bit like an old 5-Series.
But as these artistic impressions of what the new M4 (yes, it’s rumored to be called that) show, we have nothing to worry about. The car is very butch and the BMW fans who don’t want the big M5 and M6 definitely have something to look forward to.
Graphics specialist Iacoski, who made these excellent renderings, remind us that production of this new coupe will only start after the current E92 M3 is killed off in the middle of 2013.
The main changes compared to the F30 3-Series include sportier bumpers, shorter headlights accompanied by a small horizontal grille and some bigger intakes.
