BMW is continuing its niche expansion plan and when it’s not announcing future actions on the scooter market, the company is out testing cars like the upcoming 3-Series GT. We’ve seen the 3-Series version of the 5-Series GT before, but this time the vehicle is wearing less camo than ever, which indicates that the vehicle is approaching its release.
Just like the 5 GT, the vehicle comes with a tall roofline and a generous luggage compartment, with its aim being to cater for the needs of those who need a Touring (wagon) model but don’t like this body style.
The F30 3-Series roots have become more obvious now that some of the camo is gone, but the vehicle also comes with original details, with these being focused on the roof and the rear of the model.
BMW hasn’t said anything about the vehicle’s availability in the US, but if this did come to America, we’ll meet it at the Detroit Auto Show in January. As for Europeans, they will certainly see it in person at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
