Back in May this year, we brought you a set of photos showing the Aston Martin DB9 testing nearly undisguised on the Nurburgring track. Today, unfortunately, we only have this to offer: a heavily camoed DB9.
We're not sure why this is so, however. It might be that Aston has further modified the vehicle we caught testing back in May; or it may very well be our spy photographers mixed thing up and didn't give us today's photos when they should have...
Either way, the facelifted version of the DB9 is coming and will only present itself as a small plastic surgery on the existing model. The new DB9 will receive new bumpers, a bigger rear spoiler and side skirts transplanted from the DBS. In fact, the new DB9 will try to come closer to its extreme brother, in terms of looks, also receiving a pair of DBS-style air-scoops.
On the interior and under the hood, the changes made by the British carmaker still remain a mystery. Whereas at the interior the modifications, possibly extensive, are to be expected, when it comes to the engines, one can only hope for minor adjustments, adjustments intended to give the DB9 an extra boost in power.
Aside for the usual, on-the-body modifications, Aston is likely to offer several new features as options for the vehicle, including new equipment packages. All will be unveiled at the Paris Auto Show later this year, the place where the DB9 is expected to show its revised face.
