Every Christmas a couple of movies come out in which the main protagonists happen to stumble in a small town where it snows all the time, with big flakes, leaving all the background to fall pray to the usual vagaries of winter.
Our latest batch of BMW M4 Convertible spyshots was shot just in this sort of a location, somewhere in the Scandinavian Peninsula. The city in the background really looks romantic and the never-ending snow just keeps on pouring in. Maybe I’m just crazy. Don’t mind me!

The important thing here is that the car is wearing no camouflage whatsoever on the roof and we can take a look at how the car will look like when it will finally enter production.

The hard-top was kept from the previous E93 M3 model and it goes perfectly with the wider body of the new M3, making for a great contrast that emphasizes the powerful engine and rear-wheel-drive.

Talking about the engine, in case you did’t find out yet, the new model will be using a 3-liter biturbo 6-cylinder inline unit that makes 431 HP and 550 Nm of torque sent to the rear axle through a carbon fibre prop shaft that helped reduce the weight of the car under 1,500 kilos (3,300 lbs). The convertible will be a bit heavier.
